Activities:
The Society’s mission is to collect and preserve artifacts, written histories, and archival of county records as well as preserving historic buildings and creating public interest in our county’s history. Research assistance is available.
 • The Society operates:

– The Grant County Historical Museum (Old Carnegie Library)
– Historical House and Country School in Milbank
– First Congregational Church in Milbank
– Agricultural and Tractor Museums in Stockholm
– The Brown Earth Indian Church outside of Stockholm
– Troy Stagecoach House

The museums in Milbank at 3rd St.-3rd Ave. are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays or by appointment.
At Stockholm keys are available at Alice’s Restaurant on Main St. for the Ag. and Tractor Museums.
School and group tours are welcome (scheduled in advance)
