Indian Rights Association Papers on Microfilm
The Indian Rights Association (IRA) was formed in Philadelphia in 1882 to "bring about the complete civilization of the Indians and their admission to citizenship." The original records of the IRA are available at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. The records have been microfilmed, and a copy of the microfilm publication is available in the South Dakota State Archives Research Room.
